Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education.

3. Junior Technical Assistant in Handlooms and Textiles Department (Post Code No.1853) - 01* GT(G)(BL& LV) *Carried forward Vacancy

Name of the service : Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service (Code No.036)

Qualification : i) Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification. AND ii) Must possess a Diploma in Handloom Technology obtained from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Salem or Varanasi or from any other recognised Institute of Handloom Technology.

(OR)

Diploma in Textile Manufacture obtained from the Technological Diploma Examination Board, Madras or the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.

4. Junior Engineer in Fisheries Department (Post Code No. 3107) - 05 posts

Name of the service :Tamil Nadu Fisheries Engineering Subordinate Service (Code No. 107)

Qualification : Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to those who have undergone apprenticeship training for a period of not less than one year under the Government of India Schemes or State Government apprenticeship training scheme.

Age Limit : Min 30 years (Should not have completed No Maximum age limit)

Age Concession

(i) For Persons with Benchmark Disability: Persons with Benchmark Disability are eligible for age concession upto 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed above. (Section 64 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.)

(ii) For Ex-servicemen:

(a) Ex-Servicemen are eligible for age concession upto 48 years of age if he does not belong to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs(OBCMs), BCMs and 53 years if he belongs to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs(OBCMs) and BCMs. (Section 63 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.)

(b) The above mentioned age concession will not apply to those Applicants who have already been recruited to any class or service or category. [Section 3(j) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016.]

For the post of Junior Draughting Officer in Public Works Department. A candidate demobilised from any of the Defence Services, namely the Army, the Navy or the Air Forces-30 years after deducting the period spent in such service.

Note (i) ‘Others’ (i.e., Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs(OBCMs) and BCMs) who have put in 5 years and more of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit.[for further details refer para. 3(F) of ‘instructions to Applicants’ and section 3(r) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act,2016.]

Note:

(i) The educational qualification prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies viz. 10th + Diploma Course (10+3) or 10th + HSC + Diploma Course (10+2+2) or 10th + HSC + Bachelors Degree Course(10+2+4). The results of examination should have been declared on or before the date of Notification. [Section 20 (4) (iv) of the T.N Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act 2016]
