Qualification :
1.General Fitter - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in Fitter / Fitter General or ITI in Fitter / Fitter General.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years experience in the line.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc. or have relevant work experience in Public Sector / Private Shipyards / Naval Workshops and have worked on weapon intensive vessels.
2. Electrical Mechanic - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess SSC with ITI in Electrician trade.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 02 years experience as Electrician in Electrical projects/maintenance.
Desirable: Candidate should be trained in Electrical trades from a recognized institute and should possess a National certificate of Vocational training or a license authorizing him to handle electrical equipment/installations. Wireman license issued by competent Authority i.e. Govt Licensing Board Govt of Goa. Adequate working knowledge of Konkani / Marathi along with Hindi & English.
3.Commercial Assistant (Mumbai Office) - Essential Educational Qualification: : The candidate should possess minimum 2 years full time Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from recognized university/ Institute.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years relevant experience in any reputed shipyards specifically in the field of Fabrication and construction of ships, Level II certification in NDT (Radiography interpretation ,Ultrasonic testing and Dye penetration Testing) and Certification in AUTOCAD with basic computer knowledge. In addition he should have adequate knowledge in ABS, IRS and LRS Class rules and regulation and ASME Standards.
Desirable: Computer Proficiency
4.Technical Assistant (QA) -
Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess SSC.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 1 year experience in the line.
Desirable: ITI candidates will be given preference.
5.Unskilled - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years full time Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering / Mechanical Engineering having FRP as elective subject in course curriculum from a reputed and recognized Institute/University.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years relevant experience in the line
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have worked in Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc. or have relevant work experience in Public Sector / Private Shipyards / Naval Workshops.
6.FRP Laminator - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess SSC with ITI .
Essential Work Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as an EOT crane operator with exposure to working at height, maintenance of variable frequency drives (VFD) and PLC.
7.EOT Crane Operator - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Welder or ITI in the trade of Welder.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years experience in the line.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc. or have relevant work experience in Public Sector / Private Shipyards / Naval Workshops and have worked on weapon intensive vessels.
8.Welder - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in Structural Fitter / Fitter / Fitter General / Sheet Metal Worker trade.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years experience in the line.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc. or have relevant work experience in Public Sector / Private Shipyards / Naval Workshops and have worked on weapon intensive vessels.
9.Structural Fitter - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in Structural Fitter / Fitter / Fitter General / Sheet Metal Worker trade.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years experience in the line.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc. or have relevant work experience in Public Sector / Private Shipyards / Naval Workshops and have worked on weapon intensive vessels.
10. Nurse - Essential Educational Qualification: B. Sc Nursing or Minimum 2 years full time Diploma Course in Nursing & Midwifery from recognized Institute / Board / University.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate should have two years working experience in a hospital or Government / PSU medical centres.
Desirable: Candidates having knowledge of regional language i.e. Konkani / Marathi along with Hindi & English will be given preference.
11.Welder - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years full time Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical/Shipbuilding/Production Engineering from recognized university/ Institute.
Essential Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of Experience in the line. Exposure to the knowledge of systems pertaining to commercial/purchase and procurement procedures in ship building industry
Desirable: Candidates with additional qualification/certification in Materials/Logistics/purchase/Supply Chain Management will be given preference.
12. Structural Fitter - Essential Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess minimum 2 years full time Diploma in Mechanical /Electrical/Shipbuilding/Production/Fabrication Engineering from recognized university/ Institute.
Essential Work Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the fields such as Stores /Inventory/ Logistics /Supply Chain Management.
Desirable: Exposure to the knowledge of systems pertaining to commercial/purchase and procurement procedures in ship building industry. Candidates with additional qualification/certification in Materials/Logistics/purchase/Supply Chain Management will be given preference.
13. Trainee Khalasi - Essential Educational Qualification: The applicant should possess SSC with ITI in Fitter/ Fitter General.

Exam Fees
An application fee in the form of Demand Draft of ₹ 200/- (Non-Refundable) in favor of “Goa Shipyard Limited” payable at Vasco-da-Gama, Goa is to be submitted per application. Application without prescribed fees shall be liable for rejection. No fee is to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government of India rules. No fee is required to be paid by internal candidates who apply for the said post.
